		<description><![CDATA[[...] EUA se preocuparam com modelo anti-Aids brasileiro em Moçambique, June 29 A cable from June 10, 2005 discusses Brazil&#8217;s involvement in Mozambique and ways that the U.S. could cooperate with Brazil in giving aid to Mozambique. In particular, the cable praises Brazil&#8217;s HIV/AIDS programs, saying, &#8220;Brazil has a great deal of experience with the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Its national AIDS program, considered one of the most progressive in the world, includes prevention, care and treatment services.&#8221; On the other hand, Brazil had rejected 40 million dollars in USAID funding for Brazil, because they would have been required to condemn prostitution and drug-taking, which would hamper Brazil&#8217;s approach.&#160; Brazil’s model for combating HIV/AIDS is based on accepting, open policies toward commercial sex workers, injection drug users, men who have sex with men and other &#8220;high-risk&#8221; groups.
